The force feedback from the direct drive base is smooth and detailed, way beyond the belt-driven wheel I had before. Only gripe is the mounting bolts for the wheel were a bit fiddly to line up. Once it's set, though, the whole rig feels rock solid.
The wheel rim itself feels solid and the paddle shifters have a nice crisp click to them, but for the price I expected the grips to be a bit more comfortable over long stints. Setup with the base took some fiddling to get the torque feeling right.
The paddle shifters have a really solid magnetic snap, and the build feels premium in hand. But honestly, the wireless connection occasionally drops mid-race, which gets frustrating. It's good, just not flawless for the price.
