The GXL V2, the second ever wheel in the GSI lineup undergoes a complete transformation. It retains the same number of inputs and features as the FPE V2, but presents them in a sleek, screenless silhouette.
Been running this on my rig for about two weeks and the button layout just clicks for me, everything's right where my thumbs expect it. Same input count as the older version but the whole thing feels more solid in the hand. No screen to distract you, just clean and simple.
The screenless face makes it way easier to glance at my dash mid-race without anything distracting me, and all the same buttons from my old setup are still right where my thumbs expect them. Feels solid too, no flex when I'm cranking the wheel hard through a hairpin.
Swapped to this from an older wheel and the button layout on the V2 just clicks with how I race — everything's exactly where my thumbs expect it. Same input count as the FPE I ran before, but the screenless face keeps it clean and light in the hands. Two months in and it still feels solid.
